JACKEL IRELAND LTD came on board as sponsors in October 1999. They are sponsors of the request programme for the Maternity ward.

Each Friday evening a patient recieves a bag of Tommy Tippee or Maws goodies for their new baby.

Jackel have also sponsored special events such as the Birthday Baby, when the first baby born on MHR's 21st Birthday recieved a special hamper of goodies. Hampers were also presented to the Millenium Babies - the last baby born in the second millenium and the first born in the third.
