Monday

Love the music of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s? Then this is the show for you! Antrim Hospital Radio’s longest serving presenter brings to you the “Get Back” show, 7 to 9pm every Monday evening. As well as playing your requests, Tommy delves back into the archives finding the best tunes from the last 5 decades, and a regular feature of a top 40 count down from selected years - where he drops in chart facts and figures along the way. Up tempo, up beat and up lifting – just what you need to beat the Monday blues in hospital.

Tuesday

Easy listening – the true relaxation zone. Great music from some of the leading country and western, gospel and Irish singers. With a rich blend of diverse requests, this makes for an enjoyable all music 2 hours.

Wednesday

The happening place for those who like good tunes, up to date information about what’s happening in and around their area and some good crac as well. The home of the best sounds from the musicals.

Thursday

Old time tunes – 20s, 30s, 40s and the 50s. Easy on the ear with such favourites as Joseph Locke, Doris Day and Patsy Cline. Chat and show tunes with patient requests throughout. Good company for a late night.

Friday

Hip, happening, up-to-date – the contemporary show that covers the charts as well as the firm favourites from the last decade. Music to have you saying “I remember that one…I haven’t heard that for a while…I’d forgotten how good that was…” A good way to spend your Friday night in.

Saturday

4-6pm

The music box – a musical extravaganza with all the big names and all the big songs – guaranteed to please. Information on the best films and TV shows. Always on the move and never a dull moment – a great way to brighten up your Saturday afternoon.

6-8pm

All the firm favourites – this woman will have you rocking in your beds to the toe tapping tunes from the 60s right up to the cream of today’s music - gospel, folk, Irish, Country and Western, easy listening, rock - you name it, she plays it! With requests from the wards spread throughout the show, there’s always plenty to suit everyone’s tastes. A good all rounder show that helps the digestion of hospital food.

8-11pm

The late night show – fun and country – includes the request hour from 8-9, with others spread throughout the show, the Pause for Thought and the party hour 10-11 for the late night owls. Plenty to listen to - regular interviews with a range of local folk, jokes, crac, background to the songs and much much more.
